Our Story

We are constantly exposed to chemicals in our environment: our food, water,  pharmaceuticals, clothing… you name it.
I said, enough.

After researching hundreds of ingredients on labels I had around the house, I quickly realized what was lacking.
Natural.
When diving into these ingredients, I soon realized that a lot, if not most, were unnecessary. But, why? They are cheap, plain and simple.

My interest in skincare began shortly after. I began researching and learning as much as I could about natural ingredients, their benefits, how to use them, interactions, and so forth.
Pretty & Primal began as a hobby and interest of mine. I fell in love with learning about all the goodies natural skincare had to offer, and so I spent most of my spare time learning as much as I could because I simply loved it! 
While others were reading fictional novels, watching movies, or any other hobby, there I was, face down in the books learning all I could out of sheer enjoyment. 

I may be biased, but my products kick ass. And once I began to realize this, I figured it was time to start sharing them. And, so, Pretty & Primal was born.
