This 3.5% glycolic acid toner provides multiple skin benefits, primarily through gentle exfoliation and brightening. Glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), works by loosening the bonds between dead skin cells, promoting cell turnover to reveal smoother, more radiant skin. It helps reduce dullness, even out texture, and fade dark spots over time.

Witch hazel acts as a natural astringent, tightening pores and controlling excess oil, while also offering anti-inflammatory properties to soothe irritated or acne-prone skin.

Humectants like glycerin and propanediol attract moisture, ensuring the skin stays hydrated despite the exfoliation. Additional ingredients like papaya extract and honey powder contribute mild exfoliation and antibacterial benefits, while rose water and allantoin calm and hydrate, making this toner ideal for brightening, balancing, and refining the skin without excessive dryness or irritation

  1. Cleanse: Begin by washing your face with a gentle cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel, ensuring it’s clean before applying the toner.
  2. Apply: Soak a cotton pad with the glycolic acid toner
    Gently swipe the cotton pad across your face, avoiding the eye and lip areas.
  3. Allow to dry: Let the toner fully absorb into your skin for 1–2 minutes. You may experience a mild tingling sensation, which is normal due to the exfoliating action of glycolic acid.
  4. Moisturize: Follow up with a hydrating serum or moisturizer to lock in moisture and soothe the skin. Glycolic acid can be slightly drying, so it’s essential to rehydrate.
  5. SPF: If using the toner in the morning, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen  (Sunnies Sunscreen).
    Glycolic acid increases skin’s sensitivity to the sun, so sun protection is crucial.

Frequency:
Apply 1-2 times per week to start with to see how your skin reacts.

*If you experience irritation or excessive dryness, reduce frequency or switch to a more hydrating toner.
