Known to improve skins barrier strength
Skins general ceramide composition is around 50% with AP coming in at 16% of those. When we have low levels of ceramides, our skins barrier weakens and leaves us susceptible to external stressors which may lead to skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.
When we think dry, flaky skin we think loss of ceramides. So, don’t forget about adding these guys to your routine come the winter months.
